St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School

From 2007-2019, Jonathan De Vries was the Chair of the Music Department at St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School, on the Upper West Side where he was music director of productions, directed the choirs and taught vocal music. Mr. De Vries’ ensembles performed at Carnegie Hall three times, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the Apollo Theater, and with Canterbury Choral Society at Church of the Heavenly Rest and in concert with the late Pete Seeger. Annual productions at St. Hilda's included: Into the Woods,Willy Wonka, Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof, Seussical, School of Rock, Music Man, Oliver! Iolanthe, and Mikado.
